We are looking for a Category Manager

Your responsibilities:

  • Analyze market needs and consumer insights across Africa and the Middle East.

  • Build the most relevant and impactful local product offer.

  • Co-build and validate the economic strategy and roadmap for your sport/category.

  • Monitor offer performance and identify levers for continuous improvement.

  • Define and drive pricing and commercial strategies aligned with local market dynamics.

  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders from both Project Teams and Retail.

  • Feed back specific local needs to the central “Signed Sports” teams to shape future innovation.

Profil


  • Between 5 to 10 years of experience within the company.

  • Passionate about Cycling and/or Fitness.

  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and build effective networks.

  • Proven leadership, with the ability to lead change and drive transformation.

  • Curious and well-connected to market trends and evolutions.

  • Deep understanding of your market and sport — from both a customer and user perspective.

  • Strategic thinker: able to structure a strategic vision and turn it into actionable plans.

  • Strong analytical mindset.

  • Big-picture thinker, with the ability to anticipate and project into the future.

  • Very good level of English (minimum B2 level).

  • A successful experience in retail as a Regional Director, Retail Leader, or Store Manager.
    AND/OR

  • Experience in a Sport/Zone role (RS, Supply Team Leader/SCM, CDP, DIRCO) giving you strong knowledge of the key milestones of the commercialization journey.
